At home, Holston explores options for form, fit, and function by mixing repurposed shapes and textures found in hardware stores, updating hand-me-downs and great finds from resale shops, and acquiring items with simple yet distinctive style.

A former engineer and manager in quality, sourcing, and international learning solutions, Holston has lived and worked in several cities in the US and Europe. He is based in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, USA. He is very engaged with Building-Futures.org for young people, and is also pursuing interests in housing renovation and development.
